Campus France has welcomed the 68 first laureates of the cooperation program concluded between Campus France and the Royal Commission for Al-Ula.

68 students, including 32 women arrived in France for the academic year 2018/19. Campus France was present on September 3rd, 2018 to welcome them at the descent of their plane.

They are the first scholarship holders of the program concluded between Campus France and the Royal Commission for Al-Ula (RCU) for the development of the Al-Ula archaeological site. The cooperation will organise trainings in France in 10 years courses for 1,000 students targeting occupations in tourism, hotel management, archaeology and heritage.

After their reception at the airport, students were dispatched and brought in several centres for French language all over France. They’re about to learn French before continuing their studies during the academic year 2019/20.

Happy start of academic year to them!
