Bienvenue en France 2020

Campus France deploys a new communication campaign

In a global context marked by the health crisis and a slowdown of student mobility, France is reaffirming its ambition to welcome international students. Campus France, the French agency for the promotion of French higher education, is launching a new communication campaign to encourage students to apply to French institutions.

Without the thousand faces that bring diversity to our amphitheaters, our universities would not be the same! And, without the thousands of human and intellectual relations made by the foreign students who come to study here, it is France, in the eyes of the world, which would not be the same! - Jean Yves Le Drian, General Assembly of the "Etudes en France" procedure (18/11/2020)

20 alumni ambassadors of French higher education

“I chose France for my studies, what about you?”; “In France, we care about you” and “Rendez-vous en France”: these are the messages conveyed by 20 students and alumni in this new communication campaign, which follows in the steps of the previous campaign while adapting to the current environment and to students’ expectations.

The alumni come from different countries and educational backgrounds. They embody both the excellence of French higher education institutions and their own professional success that they bring.

The deployment of this campaign revolves around digital communication actions and presents alumni with elements relating to their field of study or expertise. A series of short and dynamic presentation videos has also been produced. All these materials and messages will be published on social networks and other communication channels.

Maintaining the appeal of France

By redesigning communication in 2020 to be simultaneously reassuring, encouraging and dynamic, Campus France was able to diminish the effects on the student mobility crisis.

The goal of this new campaign is to maintain France as one of the top host countries of international students while continuing to focus on the goals established two years ago by the ‘Welcome to France’ strategy.”

This campaign will be distributed by the network of 259 Campus France Offices and Branches within the French embassies in 127 countries.
