The publication of a report on Iraq (“Focus Iraq”) and a “Café Croissant” forum on the premises of Campus France have highlighted the opportunities for cooperation between French and Iraqi institutions of higher education.

In preparation for the “Café Croissant” forum on Iraq, attended by members of 24 French higher education institutions and representatives of ministries, the Île de France Regional Council, the French Embassy in Iraq and the Iraqi Embassy in France, Campus France published a report on Iraq to present the country’s higher education system to French institutions and the encourage scientific and university cooperation.

As the country rebuilds itself, two Campus France branches opened in Iraq at the end of 2018, one in Baghdad and the other in Erbil.
