Opening of the new School of Fine Arts in Nantes

Campus France participated in the event

Campus France supports this jewel from Nantes and presents the key figures of mobility and finance of the arts and culture industry. In 2016-2017, about 8,000 international students studied arts & culture and architecture in France.

In the presence of Jean-Marc Ayrault and regional authorities, Pierre-Jean Galdin, director of fine arts in Nantes, opened on November 7 the new building located in the heart of the island of Nantes, the industrial neighbourhood now completely revamped in neighbourhood dedicated to creation.

The opening gathered international partners from the School from Germany, Argentina, Belgium, Brazil, Canada, South Korea, Scotland, Spain, the USA, Ireland, Senegal, Sweden, Switzerland and a diversity reflecting the momentum and openness of the arts and culture industry employing today 670,000 people in France.
