As part of the Erasmus+ project inHERE, designed to facilitate refugees’ integration and access to European higher education institutions, Campus France held the final conference of the project in Brussels, on September 19, 2018.

The event was a good opportunity to present project’s results to the participants:

The conference gathered more than 70 people, representatives of general directions of the European Commission, European higher education institutions, and international organisations such as HCR.

All participants read the project recommendations provided during the event and presented in details during a plenary session. They had the opportunity to contribute to the document with additional suggestions made during workshops held at the same time.

During the event, 15 initiatives dedicated to refugee students and researchers were also presented, including the HOPES project, funded by the European Union through the Madad Fund, of which Campus France is a partner.

The inHERE project is supervised by UNIMED (Mediterranean Universities Union), with Campus France, the EUA (European University Association), the University of Barcelona, the La Sapienza Univeristy of Roma, and the UNHCR (United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees, associate partner).
