Digital Open Day at Campus France
On Wednesday 16 September, Campus France organised an Open Day dedicated to welcoming scholarship holders in a new 100% online format. 250 scholarship students managed by Campus France were able to discover everything they needed to know about the organisation of their stay in France.
Every year, Campus France opens its doors at the start of the new academic year to the scholarship holders. The day is dedicated to welcoming them to France. This year's Open Day took place on Wednesday 16 September 2020.
Due to the health context in relation with the COVID-19 coronavirus epidemic, the event was organised as a new 100% online format. 250 international students, with scholarships from the French government (BGF) and foreign governments (BGE), were able to exchange with the teams of Campus France and its partners about their reception and the organisation of their stay in France.
Webinars for information and exchange
Throughout the day, the scholarship students could attend a series of webinars on topics related to their stay and life in France:
- - Presentation of Campus France
- - Reception facilities set up by Campus France
- - Services provided by Campus France for scholarship holders
- - Campus France tutorials on arrival procedures
- - The France Alumni network
- - Registration to social security, in the presence of the CPAM entity
- - Residence permits, in the presence of the Ministry of the Interior
Exchange sessions allowed scholarship students to ask questions and obtain additional information.
Other events will be held throughout the year to animate and federate the fellows' community in Paris and in the regional delegations.
