Welcome Structure

Le Mans Université

Target Audience

The International Welcome Office (BAI) at Le Mans Université welcomes all international students and researchers (both in exchange programs and as individual mobility students).

Services Offered

The BAI provides individual support at the beginning of the academic year and throughout your stay to help with:

• Finding accommodation
• Visa/residence permit
• Health insurance and supplementary health coverage (mutuelle)
• CAF (housing aid)

At the beginning of the academic year, the Info Service Kiosk (KIS) helps students get familiar with campus life and life in France. Students can take a guided campus tour and interact with partner representatives, including:

• CAF
• CPAM
• SETRAM (local public transport)
• SNCF
• Action Logement
• CROUS

Dates and Opening Hours

• BAI is open continuously from 21 August to 5 September 2025, from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• Open year-round: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 12:00 PM and 2:00 PM – 5:00 PM
• KIS is open from 2 to 5 September 2025
