As part of the Knowledge Summit, first Franco-Indian Summit dedicated to higher education, research and innovation held in Delhi on March 10 and 11 with French and Indian authorities, the Agency posts a Country Report dedicated to India. The Dossier (report) presents a sum-up of higher education in India and an analysis of the attractiveness scheme of France.

India is ranked 2nd of the most mobile countries worldwide: over 250,000 Indian students are in graduating mobility in 2015. France hosted about 3,300 students for the academic year 2016-2017, and figures are sharply increasing (+54% over 5 years).  The objective is to host 10,000 Indians by 2020. To reach this ambitious goal, France wants to improve its attraction scheme by developing partnerships, concluding agreements, opening Campus France Offices (3 new offices in 2017 for a total of 13 Offices).
