Call for applications: internship & "public innovation" hackathon, Toulouse, Summer 2018

Campus France Agency launches the program "Apportez vos talents à l’innovation publique" (Bring your Talents to Public Innovation) in Toulouse during the summer 2018.

The idea of the program is gather students from the Harvard Kennedy School and MIT from the US and students and PhD students from Toulouse to design together innovative solutions to the challenges of the public sector in France.

The American students are already selected, and it's now the turn of students/PhD students in Toulouse -whether French or international, but who can speak French, ideally.

Objectives of the program:

Discover how local public administration works in France
Solve complex issues in multicultural teams during a short period of time
Have a strong impact on French public policies by designing an innovative project

Progress of the program:

From Monday, June 4, to Friday, June 8: Seminar in Sciences Po Toulouse (free of charge)
From Monday, June 11, to Wednesday, June 13: Three-days immersion in partner host institutions to discover their environment before the innovation challenge
Thursday, June 14, and Friday, June 15 : Innovation challenge (hackathon)
From Monday, June 18, to Friday, July 27: Solutions development internship in partner host institutions
From July 9 to 14: Presentation of the project by participants at the EuroScience Open Forum (ESOF) and Fab14 (Fablabs global congress)
