Campus France brings together a significant delegation of 46 institutions at the international NAFSA fair 2023

France participated in the 2023 edition of the international NAFSA fair in Washington DC from 30 May to 2 June. For the 75 years of the fair, Pavillon France brought together 46 higher education institutions and over 100 representatives.

The NAFSA fair 2023 is organised in Washington DC, federal capital of the United States, epicentre of the political life and major economic hub. The fair is an opportunity for meetings and exchanges for higher education institutions from all over the world.
Every year, the fair welcomes more than 10,000 professionals from all over the world and exhibitors from more than 100 different countries.

NAFSA edition 2023: “Inspiring an inclusive future”

This year, NFSA celebrated 75 years and invited participants to “Inspire an inclusive future” and offered platform for dialogue, networking and an exchange of good practices.

The Campus France stand

The Pavillon France was decorated with colours of the new communication campaign “Rendez-vous en France, Skills and Friends for Life” and represented by a delegation of 46 institutions and more than a hundred delegates, and offers a rich and diverse overview of the French higher education system.

The French delegation includes 15 university institutions, 19 business schools, 7 schools of engineering and 5 specialised schools.

The fair, global academic “governance” entity, presents the opportunity to:

  • Create new contacts with the global offer of universities and meet partners from all around the world
  • Participate in workshops and conferences during 3 days to assess the international education market, whether regarding very concrete themes (visas, immigration, country-workshops, accreditation, etc.) or crossed issues.

This edition will help the French delegation identify new leads of collaboration and build ambitious prospects for the future of the French higher education system.

Conclusion of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Nuffic

Donatienne Hissard, Director-General of Campus France and Dutch counterpart Titia Bredée, general director of Nuffic (the Netherlands) have concluded a memorandum of understanding on June 1st on the Pavillon de France. This is an opportunity for both operators to continue their partnership on European projects, but also to improve synergies, exchanges of expertise and good practices.

French Reception

To close the fair, Campus France and the French embassy in the United States invited 250 stakeholders of French higher education and their partners to a “French Reception” at the French Residence in Washington DC on June 1st at 7 pm.

Every year, Campus France coordinates more than 50 events related to promoting higher education throughout the world. Among these are APAIE (Asia), EAIE (Europe), EURIE (Eurasia), and even FAUBAI (Brazil). During these events, the agency brings together a great number of important higher education institutions under a single banner: the France brand.
