The French + Sciences program, developed by Campus France in partnership with FLE centers (Français Langue Etrangère), diplomatic posts and Campus France local offices, has been a lever for attracting international students since 2018 and still today for the next session 2026. This program offers English-speaking international students the opportunity to spend short stays for language and scientific learning in France in cutting-edge technological sectors. Find out more about this program and its communication kit.

Introduction to the French + Sciences program

Developed by Campus France in partnership with FLE (Français Langue Etrangère) centers, diplomatic posts and Campus France local offices, the French + Sciences program offers English-speaking international students with a beginner's level of French or higher, the opportunity to spend short linguistic and scientific stays in France in cutting-edge technological sectors.

The French + Sciences program offers anglophone international students, with beginner or higher levels of French, the opportunity to take short linguistic and scientific stays in France within cutting-edge technological sectors.

These short stays, lasting three to four weeks, are designed to promote French technological know-how and the excellence of French scientific training. Sessions are mainly conducted in English, but include an FLE module to help participants overcome the language barrier while improving their skills.

Some sessions earn ECTS credits ranging from 4 to 16 (see brochure).

Academic and logistical services are offered to participants: welcome at the training location, accommodation (2 to 3 choices), pedagogical support, training evaluation, etc.

This innovative program, which forms part of the “Bienvenue en France” (Welcome to France) strategy, is a new lever for boosting France's appeal to international students.
