The Study in Europe fair in Burma will be held in December 13, 2018 in Rangoon
PRESENTATION
The Study in Europe project is designed to improve the visibility of Europe as studies destination for international students and improve the clarity of funding opportunities from the European Union for students and teaching personnel who want to engage in mobility.
As part of this project, a Study in Europe fair will be held in Rangoon on December 13, 2018.
If you participate in the Study in Europe fair in Burma, you will have the opportunity to:
- meet students potentially interested in studies in Europe, but also their parents and academic advisors,
- Promote your institution and its offer of trainings to the visitors,
- create ties and exchange with Burmese counterparts.
With 7,582 Burmese students in mobility in 2017 (source: Unesco) and a growing interest from parents from an emerging middle class to allow their children to continue their higher studies abroad, Burma is a country with a strong potential in terms of development of student mobility and academic cooperation. The quality of higher education and the prospects in terms of jobs encourage students to consider studies in another country.
TERMS OF PARTICIPATION
The registration demand an only be made online on the Study in Europe platform from Friday, June 29 to Friday, August 17, 2018 included.
Warning: the registration demand is not a confirmation of participation. Registration demands are reviewed and confirmed later.
Registration fees for institutions in the higher education system: €750 excluding tax.
Fees give right to:
- a stand fully equipped during the fair,
- a profile of your institution in the brochure designed for the visitors,
- the participation to the networking event.

Please note that exhibitors also participating in the Study in Europe fair in Malaysia on December 15 and 16, 2018 should plan a transfer from Rangoon to Kuala Lumpur on Friday, December 14, 2018.
