Open days: Campus France welcomes students from the world

230 international students, scholarship holders and alumni participated in the Open Days organised by Campus France in its offices in Paris on Thursday 12 September 2019.

Each year, Campus France opens its doors to international students as part of a welcome reception for the start of academic year.

On Thursday 12 September 2019, 230 holders of scholarships from the French government and non-French government, students members of the France Alumni network and students from the Campus Art program responded to Campus France’s invitation and participated in the open day in a friendly and warm atmosphere.

After being received by Béatrice Khaiat, general director of Campus France, these students met the staff of the Agency who manage their scholarship grants every day and guide them throughout their stay in France. Partner entities were also present, and students also had the opportunity to register to social security, subscribe to a complementary health insurance, open a bank account, choose a guarantor and find information about many association, cultural, linguistic and tourist activities to enjoy their student life in Paris.

Campus France had everything planned to wish them a warm welcome in France, provide information and facilitate their processes at their arrival. The international students also had the opportunity to meet each other and make new friends during events. Other events will be organised by Campus France for them to participate.
