Campus France has just won a call for tenders from the European Union for the new phase of the project “Enhancing the attractiveness of European Higher Education in the world: Study in Europe”. Campus France Agency is the leader of a European consortium composed of the DAAD (Germany), Nuffic (Netherlands), Archimedes Foundation (Estonia) and Academic Cooperation Association (Belgium), and as such is responsible for the overall coordination of the project.

Funded up to €3.5m, the project’s objective is to increase the visibility of Europe as a study destination among students from non-European countries. Activities include the organisation of a series of twelve European fairs (digital and face-to-face), the management of the Study in Europe information portal, the creation of communication tools and the animation of an integrated communication campaign (including social networks), the organisation of webinars as well as networking activities and exchanges of good practices for European promotion agencies, and the animation of an online forum.

A stakeholder panel composed of representatives of nine organisations will strengthen the cooperation between the consortium and other national promotion agencies and European structures in the framework of “Study in Europe”.

Campus France has already participated in the first two phases of the project (2014-2017 and 2017-2020) and coordinated the second phase. Within the framework of this phase, five trade fairs were organised, attracting 30,000 visitors. Higher education and research institutions and national promotion agencies from 28 European countries participated in the project activities. Numerous promotional activities were carried out, notably through social networks (the Facebook account has 220,000 subscribers and the 3 promotional videos had a total of 135,000 views on the networks), the Internet portal, and through the development of an online game on studying in Europe which reached 900,000 students.
