Campus France organises every year the Campus France Meetings, the event grouping on the same location all stakeholders of academic cooperation in France.

Every year is alternatively focused on themes in relation with academic cooperation and scientific cooperation (innovation and research), and the Campus France Meeting 2018 will be dedicated to academic meetings.

Registrations must be done online on the dedicated website: ruf.campusfrance.org

You will find registration conditions, our list of partners, countries participating in the event and the programme.

Since the development of an active “Francophonie” (French-speaking world) is at the heart of the French president’s concerns, the Academic Meetings 2018 will be mainly focused on Francophonie. This is why Campus France is naturally associated to the Academic Agency for Francophonie (AAF) to design the event.

The 2018 edition features:

  • Face-to-face meetings between country representatives (diplomatic posts and Campus France Offices, universities and/or local ministries), representatives of regional AAF management, representatives of French institutions members of the Campus France Forum and partners of Campus France and the AUF and Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Ministry of Higher Education and Research.
  • Conferences and workshops focused on the development of academic cooperation and Francophonie.
  • Informal meeting times to develop projects between participants

Other keypoint of the event:

  • Presence of representatives of foreign universities
  • Presence of representatives of French institutions resulting from cooperation between France and the concerned country
  • Presence of representative of foreign embassies in France
  • Promotion of French-speaking digital offer for all partners of the event: libraries, digital universities, open and offsite training, offsite training offer for FLE (French as Foreign Language course), online French learning, and more
  • Design of a note resulting from a qualitative and quantitative study focused on the learning of French as foreign language in France. All partners are associated to the design.
