The Mediterranean Office for Youth
The Mediterranean Office for Youth (MOY) supports the mobility of students and young professionals in 16 countries bordering the Mediterranean: Albania, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Cyprus, Croatia, Egypt, Spain, France, Greece, Italy, Lebanon, Malta, Morocco, Montenegro, Slovenia, Tunisia, and Turkey. The 16 countries have come together to make the Mediterranean a meeting ground for the circulation of knowledge and skills, decisive factors in development.

The Mediterranean Office for Youth aims at :
- facilitating the mobility of students and young professionals from the Mediterranean by providing mobility grants and facilitating entry and residency procedures;
- favouring knowledge exchanges between the MOY partner countries to stimulate economic and social development, particularly in the southern Mediterranean, by supporting education and training in line with national development priorities and the demands of the labor market;
- promoting an initial professional experience for young people, through the establishment of an internship and employment platform.
MOY-labelled education and training programmes operate in 13 fields of interest to the countries of the region and fall within one of the areas of priority identified by the Union for the Mediterranean.
The institutions proceed to a first selection of the candidates for a MOY mobility grant within the MOY labelled programmes. The final selection is then made by a College of international experts. MOY grantees receive:
- a mobility grant to finance one or two semesters abroad. The base grants are €1,000/month for Master students and €1,500/month for PhD students. The base amounts are adjusted by a coefficient that takes into account the cost of living in the host country;
- facilitation of entry and residency procedures and an initial work experience;
- career mentoring;
- access to an internship and employment platform.
To better inform students about mobility programmes in the Mediterranean, the Mediterranean Office for Youth has established a resource centre on Mediterranean mobility:
