Head of the student exchange office, French Ministry of Foreign Affairs
As head of the student exchange office with the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Françoise Sellier appreciates Campus France’s “very definite know-how” in managing students’ grants.
What form does your business with Campus France take ?
We’re rather atypical clients, commissioning grantholder management from Campus France as the ministry itself takes a sharper focus on strategy issues. Interaction is an everyday matter, and it operates at various levels. Then as well as liasing on specific cases, we also call in Campus France expertise on wider-reaching matters.
For example ?
Well, Campus France provided a great deal of help in writing up the decree on grants.
How would you describe the working relationship with Campus France ?
Very good indeed! We appreciate working with an operator that is highly flexible and has developed very definite know-how over the years. Indeed, we encourage steps toward even more proactive input from Campus France in the future.
Could you be specific on this ?
We’d like Campus France to help us improve reception for foreign students, because we know there is room for improvement. Campus France already mediates valuable feedback on grantholders’ perception of the services provided: pre-arrival arrangements, administrative processes, accommodation, etc.
